Adding/Creating an Infant
To unlock babies you need to complete the Two and a Half Sims Quest first. Once the quest is complete y'all need to place a cot in a business firm, you don't need ii sims who are married anymore merely there needs to be three or less sims living there (4 sims in a house is the maximum) When you encounter the blue add sim circumvolve above the cot you are set!
Add a Baby will be the first option you meet just one time yous have completed the A Crash-land-y Ride Quest your sims will exist able to get pregnant so when you click on a crib yous volition run into two other options:
- Add a Infant– costs 3LP (volition cost simoleons once you take completed the Life Dreams and Legacies Quest, the simoleon cost varies depending on how many other sims yous have in your town) It takes 24 hours for the infant to arrive.
- Pregnancy– costs 5LP and your sim will develop an expanding baby bump, later half-dozen days the baby will arrive.
- Pregnancy Event– costs 2LP and your sim will develop an expanding baby bump while completing daily goals and other sims can consummate support tasks, if you consummate all the tasks and goals in the 9 day fourth dimension limit your new infant volition receive baby bonuses, if not your infant will all the same get in after nine days.

- Hunger- adult selects Give Food on baby /infant selects Exist Fed on developed
- Bladder- the babe will go in their diaper when they demand to, this will decrease their hygiene need
- Energy- infant selects Get to Slumber or Hibernate on themselves
- Hygiene- developed selects Change Diaper on baby /infant selects Have Diaper Changed on adult
- Social- adult selects Cuddle on babe /infant selects Be Cuddled on developed
- Fun- developed selects Entertain on baby /infant selects Exist Entertained on adult
Activities for Infants
Interactions
Crib Interactions:
The outset picture above is the interactions y'all become when a infant clicks on an adult and the 2nd film is when an adult clicks on a infant
Cry for Sim/Pick Up Babe– The babe volition exist picked up past the developed so they can get out of the crib (this option volition only appear once you have completed the Nanny Knows Best Quest)
Have Diaper Changed/Change Diaper- This improves the Hygiene need
Exist Cuddled/Cuddle– This improves the Social need
Exist Entertained/Entertain– This improves the Entertainment demand
Exist Fed/Give Food– This improves the Hunger need
There is nothing you can practise for the Bladder demand, yous have to wait for the baby to go in their diaper then y'all will demand to change the diaper
Property Babe Interactions:
Yous will simply get these interactions once you have completed the Nanny Knows Best Quest
The first picture higher up are the options you go when you click on the sim who is belongings the infant, the pictures beneath are the options you get when the infant is on the floor Option Up Infant/Cry for Sim allows that sim to pick the babe support
Ultimate Makeover- not relevant, this allows you to alter the proper noun, gender or peel color of the developed sim
Permit Infant Clamber– the sim volition put the infant on the ground and then you lot can and so control where they crawl past clicking on the floor when the plumbob is over their head:
Change Diaper– This improves the Hygiene need
Requite Food– This improves the Hunger need
Practice Walking– This is the cutest! This improves the Entertainment demand
Once the sim is holding the baby you lot can click on objects around the business firm to go interactions:
- Bed- Quick Bouncies and Bounce Marathon
- Bathroom- Bathe Baby and Bath Time Fun
- Sofa- Sit with Babe and Relax with Infant
They can also travel to other sims houses while holding the baby (they will only count as 1 sim unless they put the baby down)
Having trouble using the highchair? Brand sure your sim can stand behind the highchair so they can put the infant in it, if they can't bluish footprints volition appear:
Once your sim puts the infant down on the floor (let infant crawl option) the infant can click on objects around the house to get interactions:
- Sofa- Practice Balancing and Exercise Legs
- Domestic dog- Play with Doggy
- Xylophone- Complete Musical Expression Hobby
Interactions if y'all are the baby and you click on the baby:
Ultimate Makeover– this allows you lot to change the name, gender or pare colour of the infant for 12LP
Have Birthday– This will turn the infant into a toddler (you have to bake a birthday cake first and accept completed the quest for toddlers)
Go to Sleep– This improves the Energy need
Hibernate– This improves the Energy need once more past sleeping for 24 hours
Putting a baby back in their crib
A sim needs to pick the infant upwards then click on the crib and select put infant in cot. The other option is calm to sleep:
Relationships
Babies can interact with teens, adults and seniors, they cannot collaborate with toddlers or preteens, their interactions with those life stages is the same:
- Strangers: Be Cuddled
Advantage for becoming associate: 100XP - Acquaintances: Be Cuddled
Reward for becoming friends: 150XP - Friends: Be Cuddled
Reward for becoming good friends: 200XP - Expert friends: Exist Cuddled
Reward for becoming best friends: 300XP - Best friends: Be Cuddled

Babies can only interact with adults, teens and seniors, they cannot collaborate with preteens, toddlers or other infants
Ageing an Babe?
If you have completed the Life Dreams and Legacies Quest when your infant reaches the end of that life stage they will age automatically to a toddler sim. Before this, you need to complete the A Quest for Toddlers and bake a birthday cake to exist able to age your infant to a toddler sim.
